The Oklahoma Rebels Coaching staff would like to request prayer on behalf of one of our wonderful softball players and her family. Ashlee Nation will be going in for back surgery tomorrow morning at 9:30. Just wanted to let Ashlee and her family know how much love and support you have outside of your wonderful family. Your Oklahoma Rebels family is praying for you and know with this message so will so many other softball organizations. We are looking forward to helping you with your rehabilitation to regain all of your strength for a very successful 2010 softball season. We love you!!!!!!!

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. Ashlee had her surgery yesterday and it went well according to the doctor. Her L4 was a little worse than they thought and he removed part of that disc. Overall - she is in good spirits and she came home today. The doctor is making her stay down for a couple of weeks – so she will miss two weeks of school. The prognosis is still good for her to be able get back to full strength. She isn’t suppose to do any physical activity for six weeks, but then she will be able to start easing back into a routine and preparing for next spring’s softball season. Kyle |
