I have a friend who has a teenage son named, Kyle.

He is one of a set of twin boys and he has cancer.

He is only 17 but has the humility and patience of more than anyone I know. I thought that since the prayers of each of you have obviously proven to be extremely powerful, I would ask that you add Kyle and his family to your list. He is doing extremely well, most times, and is now half way done with his chemo and radiation but still it is tough being sick, expecially as a teenager and at Christmas time. Please take the time to visit his website as well and wish him the best and thanks ahead of time for your thoughts and prayers.

Thanks everyone for the prayers for Kyle. I have let him and his mom know about your kind posts, (thanks to the two families that have signed his guestbook already), via his website. I'm sure he will be checking here to see what exactly this is all about! Keep the prayers coming as he is only 1/2 way through the chemo and radiation.

Psycosoftballfan Oksoftball32 you are right!

I just wanted to bump this back up to the top.

Kyle is now in Houston at MD Anderson for a 7 week stint where he is receiving more chemo and radiation. This is hopefully his last big round where he is away from home. He is well over the 1/2 way mark now and is still doing remarkably well but he and his mom are far from home for a long time without family so please keep them in your prayers and feel free to check in on them as him mom Shannon is updating often and Kyle even pops in from time to time to post. You can visit his site at:

Thanks everyone and hug your children and those you love dearly every day!

Please let us know if Kyle needs Jet transportation to and from his treatments. We can help with no cost flights. I know this isn't much to offer on a scale of this _ diseases....  http://www.Cancersucks.com

Thanks Evan. I will make sure and let them know of your offer. That is very kind of you. I haven't seen this young man since he was very little but what a wonderfully courageous and faithful young man he has grown to be. Thanks Keith for your prayers. I know Kyle, his mom Shannon and his entire family covet those prayers. As you both know this is an awful thing to have to live with but LIVE he will and that alone is an answer to prayer! thanks to both of you and Evan, I will make sure they see your offer. Everyone continue to pray for this young man and his mom, Shannon, my childhood friend. They are far from home for many weeks going through countless Dr. visits, tests and treatments.

All of you are great!!!

This is an amazing young man!!!  I have been following him, through his CaringBridge site, since Amber posted originally.  I love the updates that his mom, Shannon, posts................BUT, my absolute favorites are when Kyle himself updates!!!  This kiddo has amazing faith, and can "preach" the most amazing sermons you will ever read!!  Knowing that he has been and is continuing to go through what he has, it is awesome to see that he continues to have such awesome faith!!  There is alot to be learned from someone like Kyle!!

If you haven't done so yet, go to his site and read his journal!!  And while you're there, sign his guest book!!  Support means everything during times like this, and he has a long stay in Houston, away from home, so I'm sure he would enjoy hearing from everyone!!

Thanks for keeping us all updated, Amber!!

Prayin' 4 Kyle!!

Thanks Rita! You are so right about this young man. My favorites are also when Kyle posts. I got to talk with his mom Shannon today and he is doing very well. He really is an amazing young man. Please keep posting here and praying for him and his family. He is checking here to see what each of you are saying and yes, Rita is right, sign his guestbook. He needs all the support and prayers. His mom says they covet all of them. Too many is not enough. Thanks Rita for keeping up with him. He really is a blessing!

I will keep you updated.

Hey Evan, I told them of your offer and they are very appreciative. I told them to let me know if they needed your help and that I would get in contact with you.

Thanks again. They were blown away!
